See It This Way film & idea festival for Mental Health
This one of a kind event encompasses creative expression, multimedia, storytelling, live performance and technology to create a vibrant community with proud labels. See It This Way is a free interactive community event that aims to increase awareness and decrease stigma through edutainment and advocacy. Each See It This Way will run from 6pm to 10pm, Wednesdays, May 3, May 17, May 31, and will consist of films, performances and panels all focused on ending stigma in mental health, disability and recovery. Each event will have a brand new series of content and things to do. The Open Mind Escape Room will be at each event.
6:00pm-7:00pm: Arrive, network and engage. Interact with the Open Mind Escape Room to learn about the history of mental health and win prizes. Open Mind Escape Room: The Open Mind Mental Health Escape is a mobile experience that is set up to give you a one of kind experience where you learn about mental health through history, decode puzzles to help over hurdles in life, create self care escape routes, complete the escape room by yourself or with a team, and get prizes when you get out. 7:00pm-9:00pm: Sit back, relax and enjoy. Absorb the edutainment and participate in the panels. 9:00pm-10:00pm: Make new friends and action plans to help build positive communities.
